More delicious than meat: how to cook lentil cutlets (video recipe)

Ingredients:
- 285 g dried red lentils
- Shallot onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 small carrot
- 15 g of chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tbsp. l tomato puree
- 1 tsp of salt
- A pinch of black pepper
- Olive oil for frying
Cooking lentil cutlets:
Soak the lentils for two hours and drain them. Then put the lentils in a blender bowl, add chopped onions, two cloves of garlic, chopped parsley, and grated carrots. Add salt, tomato puree, and pepper. Blend all these ingredients in a blender until smooth.
Put a non-stick frying pan on the stove to heat up and add oil.
Form the prepared "dough" into patties and fry on both sides until golden brown. Place the patties on paper towels to absorb the remaining oil.
