During the warm season, open windows to ventilate the room become the norm. As a result, dust, smog, and other pollutants from the street settle on the curtains, giving them an unpleasant yellow tint.

Often, normal washing cannot restore their original whiteness. In such situations, it is worth resorting to the use of a natural remedy that can restore the purity of tulle in just 20 minutes, writes the Telegraph.

How to whiten tulle quickly

Tulle not only decorates windows but also serves as a barrier against dust and debris from the outside. Because of this, curtains and tulle need regular and thorough washing.

Before washing, soak the fabric by adding an ingredient from your kitchen to make it snow-white again. Pour 5 liters of water into a bowl and dissolve one sachet of baking powder in it. Stir until the baking powder is completely dissolved. Leave the tulle in this liquid for 20 minutes.

Next, put the product in the washing machine, selecting the delicate cycle. To achieve a better whitening effect, you can add another sachet of baking powder directly to the drum. This will help whiten the fabric without harming it.
