UKRAINIAN DUMPLINGS WITH CHERRIES RECIPE

Dumplings with cherries

for 70 dumplings

Choux pastry:

500 g of flour

10 g of salt

250 ml of boiling water

50 ml of sunflower oil (refined)

Filling:

Cherries

Sugar.

1. Mix salt with boiling water, add this solution and oil to the flour. Mix first with a whisk, then knead with your hands. But not for long. Leave the dough in a bowl, and cover it with plastic wrap or a towel. Leave it at room temperature for an hour.

2. Take out the dough, mix it, and knead it without adding flour. I put the dough in a bag and put it in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.

The dough can be stored in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.

3. Dust the table and dough with flour. Roll it out, and squeeze out circles 6 cm in diameter.

4. Spread the dough on the palm of your hand, add sugar (to taste), and add 2-3 cherries (with bone), or without.

5. Cover the prepared dough with plastic wrap to prevent it from airing out.

6. I put the dumplings in boiling water. 2-3 minutes - ready!

7. Serve with butter or sour cream.
