Using baking soda and vinegar
To clean tarnished stainless steel spoons, knives and forks, you can prepare a solution of baking soda and vinegar. Mix equal parts of both ingredients to form a paste.
Then it is applied to the darkened areas and left for a few minutes. After that, the dishes can be cleaned with a soft-bristled brush and rinsed thoroughly with water. This method effectively restores the shine of stainless steel without causing any damage.
Lemon juice
Cut the lemon in half and sprinkle the cut side with salt. Then rub it on the darkened areas of spoons, knives, and forks. The citric acid in lemon juice helps dissolve plaque, and the salt acts as a mild abrasive.
