How to cook eggs to get the most out of them
A baked omelet with vegetables is a hearty, tasty and healthy dish that the whole family will enjoy. It is easy to prepare and the recipe does not require much time and special skills.
The recipe shared on the OBOZREVATEL website is useful because it contains protein from eggs, vitamins and fiber from vegetables. It is suitable for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It can be a vegetarian dish.
Ingredients:
- Spinach - 1 bunch
- Bell pepper (red and yellow) - 1 pc.
- Eggs - 3 pcs.
- Broccoli - 150 g
- Milk - 150 ml
- Salt - 1/2 tsp.
Preparation:
- Wash the broccoli and divide it into florets. Boil in salted water for 5 minutes.
- Cut the pepper into small pieces.
- Beat the eggs with milk and salt.
- Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil. Layer the vegetables: broccoli, spinach, pepper.
- Pour the egg and milk mixture over the vegetables.
- Bake the omelet in a preheated oven at 170°C for 30 minutes.
Tip:
- Other green vegetables can be used instead of spinach, such as arugula or lettuce.
- Other vegetables can be added to the omelet, such as tomatoes, onions, or mushrooms.
- If desired, the omelet can be sprinkled with grated cheese.
