Looking for a quick and satisfying dinner idea? Try making a potato and sausage casserole! This dish does not require much time and effort, and the result will pleasantly surprise you.

This casserole will be a great dinner for the whole family. It is hearty, tasty and very easy to prepare. The recipe was shared on the One Minute website.

Ingredients:

  • Potatoes - 800 g
  • Vegetable oil - 3 tbsp.
  • Salt - to taste
  • Ground black pepper - to taste
  • Dried garlic - 1 tsp.
  • Sweet paprika - 1 tsp.
  • Eggs - 3 pcs.
  • Sour cream - 3 tbsp.
  • Green onions - a bunch
  • Tomato - 1 pc.
  • Sausage - 100 g
  • Dill or parsley - a bunch
  • Salt - 1/3 tsp.

Preparation:

  1. Prepare the products. Cut the potatoes into thin slices, dice the sausage, chop the tomato into small cubes, and chop the herbs.
  2. Bake the potatoes. Put the potatoes in a baking dish, drizzle with vegetable oil, add salt, pepper, garlic, paprika, and mix well. Put them in the oven, preheated to 200°C, for 30 minutes.
  3. Prepare the egg mixture. Beat eggs with sour cream in a bowl. Add chopped onion, tomato, sausage, herbs, salt and mix.
  4. Combine the potatoes and egg mixture. Pour the egg mixture over the baked potatoes and spread evenly.
  5. Finish baking the casserole. Return the casserole to the oven for 15 minutes at 200°C.
  6. Serve it to the table. Sprinkle the finished casserole with dill, divide into portions and serve.

Tips:

  • For a richer flavor, add grated cheese to the egg mixture.
  • Instead of sausage, you can use bacon, ham or boiled meat.
  • Add other vegetables to the casserole, such as bell peppers or broccoli.
  • You can use cream instead of sour cream.
