For chocolate lovers, we offer a recipe for an extraordinarily chocolate cupcake. This cupcake has a rich chocolate flavor and aroma that will not leave anyone with a sweet tooth indifferent.

The recipe was shared on the Shuba website. You can replace margarine in the recipe with butter, and walnuts with other nuts to your liking. Candied fruit can be added instead of raisins and nuts.

Ingredients:

  • Margarine - 200 g
  • Sugar - 1.5 cups
  • Milk - 0.5 cups
  • Cocoa powder - 4 tbsp
  • Flour - 2 cups
  • Eggs - 4 pcs.
  • Baking soda - 0.5 tsp
  • Vinegar - 1 tbsp.
  • Vanilla sugar - to taste
  • Raisins - 250 g
  • Walnuts - 50 g

For the fondant:

  • Milk - 3 tbsp. l.
  • Sugar - 2 tbsp
  • Cocoa powder - 2 tbsp. l
  • Butter - 50 g

Preparation:

  1. Melt margarine or butter in a saucepan, add sugar, milk, and cocoa. Heat, stirring, until the ingredients are completely dissolved. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  2. Pour the vanilla sugar into the eggs and beat until fluffy. Pour the cooled chocolate base into the egg mixture and mix well.
  3. Add the sifted flour and baking soda slaked with vinegar and mix until smooth. Stir in the raisins and chopped nuts.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased muffin tin and bake in a preheated 180 °C oven for 40-45 minutes.
  5. To make the fudge, combine the milk, sugar, cocoa powder, and butter in a saucepan. Heat over low heat, stirring, until the ingredients are completely dissolved.
  6. Pour the hot fondant over the finished cupcake.
