The life hack has received the approval of users, collecting more than 706 thousand likes. People note that it's much easier to drain the water this way, and the colander is much easier to wash afterwards.

The chef added another interesting nuance in the comments: it is recommended to leave some water from the pasta and add it to the sauce. This will make it thicker and the pasta even more delicious.
