Blanching method
This method is similar to blanching other vegetables. To do this, you need:
- Place the garlic cloves in a bowl of warm water.
- Add a few cloves.
- Leave the garlic in the water for 2-3 minutes.
- Take the garlic out of the water and let it drain.
The garlic peel will then come off easily.
The microwave method
This method is even easier, but it may not be suitable for all types of garlic. To do this, you need:
- Place the garlic cloves in a bowl.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap.
- Place the bowl in the microwave for 10-15 seconds.
- Remove the bowl from the microwave and let the garlic cool.
After that, the garlic peel will come off easily.
Both of these methods help preserve the flavor and aroma of garlic. They are also environmentally friendly because they do not require the use of chemicals.
