Experts explain how to get rid of ants at home without harsh chemicals
How to easily get rid of ants at home

Fighting ants can be unpleasant because of their huge numbers, but there is an easy way to get rid of them permanently. You don't need to use harsh chemicals.

Jordan Ardoyne, a pest control expert at Lawn Love, explained how easy it is to scare away ants. This was reported by Express.co.uk.

Vinegar, lemon juice, and black pepper are popular ant repellents. These natural repellents work because their strong odor can confuse ants and make it difficult for them to communicate with each other, making it less likely that they will enter the area.

However, if you need a solution that will rid you of ants permanently, Jordan highly recommends using baking soda or baby powder. They clog the ants' spiracles, which are the pores in their exoskeleton that they need to breathe.

If baking soda is ingested, it will cause a chemical reaction inside the ant that will kill it. Mixing equal parts baking soda, talcum powder, and powdered sugar will create the best ant bait.
