10 questions to ask your child to find out what difficulties they have at school
BLOG
Friends, hello.
Are you sure you know the whole truth about your child's attitude to school?
My experience shows that most parents do not know the answer, and if they do, it is very superficial. Let's understand the reasons better.
I have prepared 10 questions that you should ask your child:
1. Do you want to learn?
If yes, why? If no, why not?
2. What do you NOT like doing at school the most and why?
3. What do you like doing at school the most and why?
4. Do you have many friends at school?
5. Are there any children who bother you? If so, how do they do it?
6. How do teachers treat you? Are there any who say bad things to you?
7. If you could, what would you change about your studies?
8. Why do you study?
9. Are you afraid of getting a bad grade?
10. How can I (or your dad and I) help you to make it easier and more interesting for you to learn?
Important!
Your main task is to hear honest answers from your child, and everything he or she thinks. Try not to interrupt or criticize him/her - listen carefully.
What should you do after your child opens up to you about his or her problems with school? You need to help him or her overcome them.
